So I have to apologize.  I know I said I'd put up the finished version of Victor Fries next time I was on, being now, but I actually haven't had the time to finish him.  That's not entirely true, but allow me to explain.

Unfortunately for my time for painting, but fortunately for my paycheck, work has given me more hours.  In addition to that, I've been pushing myself to do 1-2 hour speedpaintings every night for about a week now.  The two that I posted were the only two I was pleased enough with to post.  The ones I haven't posted though have given me invaluable knowledge for future work.

Hey, it's been awhile.  For the few of you that are watching me, I have to apologize.  I've been heavily job searching, and so for the last couple of years everything I own has been packed in boxes, and I've been moving a lot.  I'm finally settled into a new place though, and I've been able to get back to doing artwork.  I actually lost interest in doing art during that transition period, and I'm kind of sad that happened.  I'm back on the horse now though, and I'm cramming seriously hard.  Learning a lot in a very short amount of time.  That should become apparent as I post new pictures.

In other news, I won't be on this profile much longer.  I want to redefine my image, and so I'll be creating a new profile for my new work.  I'll give you guys a link to the new profile when that happens, but I'll be posting a few more pictures in this profile still, so don't worry too much about missing the transition.

Also, to those of you whose art I was coloring:  The device that was being used to store the files was accidentally put through the wash.  I didn't do it, but I won't point fingers at who did.  Suffice it to say, I'll have to start from scratch when I get back to doing them, but right now I'm very busy with a lot of personal projects, so it may be awhile.

That's pretty much all I can think of to say about me.  So to add a little more to this entry, I've been reading a lot of professional artist blogs lately.  That's part of the cram session I told you about earlier.  It's extremely educational to read these blogs, and I would suggest to anyone trying to improve their art to read these blogs.  I'd also suggest taking life drawing classes as much as you can, if you can.  I've learned more from this stuff then I ever learned in an art class.

Also, that Mr. Freeze painting I just posted isn't quite finished, but I've been wanting to post for something to let you guys know what's going on for awhile now, and the piece is almost finished, so I figured I'd toss it up there and just update it when I finish the piece.

I'll be letting you guys know more about the reason I'm changing profiles and such next time I update.  Until then, have fun making awesome art.

So I haven't done a whole lot on here in a long time.  Life's been rough lately.  And by lately, I mean the past two years.  But particularly recently, considering this economy is making it really tough to find a job.  So until I can finally find one, I'll once again be taking commissions.

It's 25 dollars (USD) for a quality print on 22' by 10' basic poster paper shipped directly to your address.  The frame won't be included, as frames are really expensive (unless of course you can afford 100 dollars, then by all means, go for it).  If you're interested, go ahead and give me a message, and I'll contact you with my info, and you'll give me your info, and before you know it you'll have an awesome print to hang on your wall.  Or stick to your wall.  However you want to do it.  You can also request different sized paper and different quality paper, but the bigger the paper or higher the quality, the more expensive it will be.  Of course getting it smaller makes it cheaper as well.  It goes both ways like that.  The payments will be made through paypal, of course, so please keep that in mind before making your decisions.

In other news, I lost my flash drive, then found it again, so the old pieces that I was working on haven't come along very far since last you saw them.  But I do still plan to finish them.  I just wish I had some time

Also, if there are jobs in your area, let me know.  I'm willing to move.  But probably not overseas.  That would be a bit hard.

So, I'm updating everything.  Not everything will look fantastic, but now you get the rare pleasure of seeing what my works in progress really look like.  All of the layers will be visible.  Somehow, they all magically get farther along until they're done >.>

Anywho, I'm still taking commissions, considering no one messaged me yet since the last time I announced that I'm taking commissions.  Seriously people, commissions.  They're fun.  You tell me what to draw, I draw it, you buy it, and that's how the world goes round...

I'm taking commissions at $5 apiece.  just give me character descriptions, any necessary info to go with them, and hopefully within a couple weeks, I'll have the commish.  All proceeds will go to the "get Brandon a tablet" fund.

On a further note, I'm coloring Mermak Concept, Megatron's a Jerk, Random Elf Girl, Trollz, and S High.  Hopefully those will all be finished and posted by the end of next week.  Any sketches and/or completed drawings I finish will probably end up here too.  Until then, please send commission requests.  PLEASE!
